About BEAUTIES

The Beauties Collection began with amazing women. The way they looked into the camera connected with me. Their pride, their confidence, their feminine power which they exuded into the gaze of the viewer struck me. Most of my paintings were born out of images posted by these women themselves on Instagram. These paintings are my interpretations of their photograph, and yet, I tried to remain true to what the essence of their photograph suggests.

These paintings bring to life an energy of confidence, an edge, assertiveness, and veneration toward these women as expressed in the physical realm of painting. One can behold their energy through their body language, gaze, facial expression, through their fashion styling and clothing, how they wear their hair and where they pose.

These original paintings empower the viewer with the same qualities that are expressed within each brushstroke: confidence, joy, and beauty.
