Commission One-Of-A-Kind Work

A commissioned piece allows you to translate something personal—a landscape, a memory, a feeling—into a work of art that lives with you.

Each commission is created as a collaboration, resulting in a piece that is entirely your own.

What you can commission:

  • Coastal and mountainous landscapes inspired by meaningful places

  • Butterfly works rooted in symbolism and transformation

  • Abstract or textural pieces aligned with your space

  • Portraits of your children or nieces/nephews

  • Sea Tweed (TM) works (limited availability)

Investment Guide

Small works: Starting at $500

Mid-size works: $900-$2000

Large statement pieces: $2500+

The Process

  1. Inquiry

    1. I listen as you share your idea, space, or inspiration with me. My communication is designed for efficiency, saves you time, with less “back-and-forth.”

  2. Concept Development

    We refine size, palette, and direction together. Once you are happy with the direction and concept, we move to the Creation phase.

  3. Creation

    A 50% deposit reserves your commission. Your piece is created based on our agreed-upon timeline. I will send you photos of the progression of your artwork and communicate weekly as I paint the layers of your commission.

  4. Completion and Delivery

    Final balance is due before delivery, shipment, or installation. White-glove delivery and installation is included in your purchase, within the Central-Oregon area.

    Step 1: Consultation // Dream it.

    Dream a little to determine your vision and project goals. Dominique will guide you through a discovery session via phone or email to brainstorm a painting that you will love for a lifetime. A discovery session will determine what styles of art you like, what dimensions you are looking for, scope of project(s), subject matter, color palette, and help you to ballpark your project investment.

    Step 2: Design it.

    Your original fine art painting will begin to emerge with a sketch rendering and beginning design details will be sent to you via email. Thorough planning will take place at this stage to determine painting medium, materials and size of your painting or art piece. After you approve the final sketch or design, Dominique will email you her project schedule.

    Step 3: Creation

    Dominique’s expert care and over two decades of fine art experience will go into creating this painting. Your new artwork will be created using the finest archival materials to protect your investment. Dominique will send you progress photos via email as she creates your painting. Once completed, Your artwork will ship to your home or business! Now, you will get to glow it and show it, and enjoy your original work of art.
