How the painting feels:
Deep magenta faces sparkle like women at a party. A bright blue background energizes the soul, and make the orchids really pop. Emerald green leaves sweep toward the ground like slides for dewdrops. Orchid friends bloom all at once.
How this painting came about:
A bright blue painting hangs above my easel in my art studio. When I was setting up this still-life of orchids, it popped into the background unannounced and just stayed throughout the process. These pink orchids have a halo of light emanating from them to create a romantic aura.
